The new season approaches and I look forward to having the new inset of cricketers to Potters Bar U9. It is a fantastic club for any new cricketer to start his career. We have lots of games planned to start our fledgling boys off and to improve their cricketing skills, who knows we might have a future Freddie Flintoff in our mists. I am very pleased to say that I will be supported at the U9's coaching session by Jess Tailor who will be able to pass on some of his cricketing knowledge to our youngsters. At the moment we have two games planned against Edmonton home and away in June and July and hopefully we can add too this. I see this year as a introduction to cricket and it is important to myself and Jess that the children enjoy the game and learn about the rules. We look forward to meeting all the parents and any queries we will be happy to respond to after the coaching session.
