Last Year (2006) we had a very young inexperienced squad of mainly 9 and 10 year olds. The season started well with Harrison Palmer and Luke McGee representing Middlesex Under 10's for the first time and James Ilott representing Hertfordshire under 10's.In what was my first season in charge of the Under 11's, all the boys progressed and with the help of Sri Lankan International Kash Weeraratne, we came top of the league with some fine performances during the season. This year in looking forward to an even better season with most of the boys going to Winter Nets or One to One training. We now have 3 Middlesex Players with Harrison Palmer, Luke McGee and James Ilott moving from Hertfordshire, also we have 2 Herts County players in George Scott and Dan Bateson, with other players more than capable of playing at a Higher Standard. Im looking for the boys to challenge for the title again in an even tougher league and a good cup run. Lastly, I hope all the boys have a successful season and develop and enjoy their cricket.

Update: George Scott & Daniel Bateson both are playing for the U11 Herts county side. Harrison, James and Luke are all playing for their respective Middx age groups. Well done and good luck to all this season.
